RETREAT MAGIC AT MIZATA
Organic coffee and snacks make for fun social encounters as we prepare for our first yoga session of the day. Overlooking the ocean, you will train with international yoga teachers.
After yoga dive into a much deserved and delicious breakfast that accommodates any diet requirements without sacrificing amazing taste. Socialize with fellow world travelers and then hone your surf skills with certified surf coaches, hike the mountainsides of Mizata, explore the flora & fauna with local guides or get in some much needed hammock time. Then a palate tantalizing lunch from our farm to table kitchen.
Post lunchtime nourishment, prepare for world class workshops that are designed to enhance your yoga practice with new techniques. Explore variations of yoga with Acroyoga and aerial yoga. The learning points of each work shop will be reintroduced throughout the week to assist with training and adoption.
After each work shop your afternoons are free to explore the tide pools of Mizata, teach English to local children, find a comfy nook with a book or anything else that raises your heart’s vibration.
Dinner fare is mouthwatering alchemy from our local chef’s for your palates pleasure. Interact with likeminded travelers and make lifetime friends. After dinner drift into splendid dream sleep as we prepare the next day of your journey.
THE YOGA
Classes are designed for all levels and will explore invigorating to smooth mellow flows, leaving you feeling relaxed and recharged with lessons for both on and off your mat.
Throughout the week, we'll dive into a series of yoga-centric workshops and activities to further enhance your yogic experience. Expanding your physical practice by dissecting various postures and sequences, then reintroducing them throughout the morning flows to assist with training and adoption. We’ll explore modern variations with Acro and Aerial Yoga and restorative variations with Yin and Yoga Nidra and further expand upon a full yoga experience.
THE SURF
The additional benefits of balance, fitness and mental acuity further motivate surfers on a never ending quest with wave connection.
Mizata has a collection of wave breaks that are stunningly beautiful and enchanting. We have ISA certified instructors that provide beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers with instruction that will advance your level of surf utilizing 15 grading metrics, to determine proficiency. In addition to daily surf classes and coaching you will have additional free surf time to explore surfing.

Bungalows: Oceanfront bungalows with stunning whitewater views. King size bed with premium pillows and reading lights. Poured in place couches that double as day beds. Closet with rollout drawes. Fully stocked mini-fridge. Polished concrete desk. Air conditioning and WI-FI.
Suites: Queen size bed, premium pillows and reading lights. Most have ocean view. Air conditioning and WI-FI.
Bunks: Each bunk has privacy curtain system and reading light. Four bunks to a room with a shower and bathroom in each room. Locking storage, air conditioning and WI-FI.
